In our first year, clubs and extracurricular activities will be added based on student interest and the availability of staff sponsors.

Students will have the opportunity to form clubs by gathering support from other students and finding a staff member to moderate.

Some extracurricular opportunities offered at other Cristo Rey Network schools include:

  • Art Club
  • Choir
  • Dance Team
  • Debate Club
  • Drama Club
  • Yearbook
  • Student Council
  • Service (e.g., Red Cross, Regional Food Bank, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity)

Students who participate in these programs will have the opportunity to hold positions of leadership, serve as role models for their peers, represent the Cristo Rey community, and develop relationships with others.

Building Character

We have finalized local partnerships with First Serve OKC, First Tee Metropolitan Oklahoma City, and the Boathouse Foundation to offer our founding freshman tennis, golf and rowing.

We also anticipate to field teams for cross country, soccer, volleyball and basketball, beginning in the fall of 2018.

Our mission is to develop the character of our student athletes and teach them discipline, team work and the value of hard work. We encourage our student athletes to be role models in their school, family, and communities.

As a Catholic school, faith formation is an essential component of our mission.

Campus Ministry provides Cristo Rey students numerous opportunities to deepen their relationship with God in the context of a Christian community. Through retreats, liturgies, and other programs, students will be invited to pray, reflect, serve, and converse.

We consider service to our community to be an active response to our faith. We are inspired by and pursue the example of Jesus by feeding the hungry, visiting the infirmed, and inviting the outcast into friendship. Learning to live out our faith and values in all aspects of our lives is an essential part of the Cristo Rey experience.

Committed to all students and their families

Our counseling department will be committed to assisting all students and their families in meeting the demands of high school and in dealing with problems that may arise in school, at home, or in the community. We are dedicated to providing support in the academic, personal and spiritual lives of all our students.
